Android 4.4.3 Details Leak Out: Bugfixes Galore

  • Android 4.4.3 is incoming, as we already learned from a few sightings of new build numbers over the past week or so. Today we get sort of a changelog for this release, but don’t expect anything major, except for bug fixes.

    The image shown above is supposed to be a screenshot of Android 4.4.3 running on a Nexus 5. As I said, this is not a major release, but rather one focused on fixing some issues, like the frequent data connection dropout, crashes, camera focus issues an HDR mode too. Bluetooth has been fixed and random reboots should be gone.

    USB debugging security is fixed, WiFi auto connect problems are solved and missed call LED issues are gone. Finally, subtitles, data usage graphics and FCC compliance are all fixed. Nexus 5 users will probably be most happy about the camera focus fix, since some of them have been having problems with that, even after an update in that area.
