Angry Birds Epic Trailer Revealed, New Game Genre Tackled (Video)
It appears that Rovio is moving Angry Birds in a new direction with the Epic title, that seems to be a turn based title of sorts. They’ve published the trailer below, detailing aspects of the gameplay.
Rovio confirmed Epic to be a turn based RPG, that surprised many gamers. The characters seem to be knights and witches and the whole theme of the game is medieval. The birds and pigs fighting are still here, but this time in a medieval setting. You can loot, use epic costumes and benefit from epic humor.
Right now, Rovio’s new game is only available on iOS and in limited territories, so Android device owners are in for a wait. I can see that various abilities, shields and magic are shown in the trailer and who would have thought that Final Fantasy and Rovio would get so close some day?
