  • Angry Birds Go is making the news these days, but not through positive reviews or great graphics, but rather exaggerated prices for in app purchases. The game has only arrived in limited areas, like New Zealand’s App Store from what I’ve heard, while the rest of the world waits for December 11th for an Android release.

This karting game features all the birds we love, some crazy vehicles, customizations and powerups. Telepods are also in the mix and for some reason you may end up spending as much as $100 for a single car. Imagine if kids will play the game… imagine tapping the screen twice by mistake. $100 is a huge number, but you can also spend $124, as shown in the screenshot above.

Of course, there’s grinding available, but the gems are always scarce in the game. Well, since this game has in app purchases, at least I hope it will be free, right? Otherwise, Rovio is preparing to become as despised as Gameloft and their cash cows.
