  • It’s a good time to stay in sick for Halloween, so if you feel like attending costume parties, you may as well download the Angry Birds Transformers title and have a blast. Previously available on iOS, the game has now arrived on Android, where it’s up for download here.

The title is available for free and features the trademark Angry Birds now becoming robots. Chuck has become Bumblebee, Red has become Optimus Prime and even the big pigs join the fun becoming transforming Decepticons. You can play as each and every one of them, upgrade them, unlock new ones, for a total of about 11 robots. Rovio’s game is an endless runner, a side scrolling one, that also includes elements of physics puzzle.

The robots get to shoot platforms made of rock, wood or ice in the background, tearing down the usual pig baddies. There are 3 currencies here: coins, used to upgrade robots, pigs, used to unlock new bots and crystals, that speed up the timers from this freemium. You can summon another player’s robot to aid you if the going gets tough and your robot will take damage that digs into their old school hearts placed above their heads.

The graphics look incredible and the soundtrack is pure synth madness.
