  • Telltale Games has created some brilliant titles over the past year or so and continues to do that with the likes of The Wolf Among Us. The game is a graphic novel/point and click title, available for free on Android, at least in the case of the first episode. There are 5 episodes in total and you’ll pay about 4 euros and a half for each.

We played the game on the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 MEC572C and had a blast. Based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series, the game tells the story of a few mythical creatures, set up in New York in 1986. Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, the Toad and Pig are all here, together with a character called Donkey Skin, a pretty street walker, who gets killed early in the game. This sets up Bigby, the big bad wolf to investigate her death, since he’s the sheriff in town.

All you have to do is tap a variety of options on the screen during dialogs, press some virtual buttons to investigate, pick up objects and interact with your surroundings. You can chase people, interrogate them, be kind or evil, mess with their heads and be a sociopath if you want to. Your choices will affect the outcome of the game and the storyline that follows. The graphics are great and the atmosphere is noir, plus the music is gloomy and the dialog is top notch.

There are about 10 hours of gameplay in total, spread out through 5 episodes and this brilliant title, with excellent storyline gets a solid 9.5 out of 10 from us. You can download it here.
