  • Usually, when Assassin’s Creed hits the mobile devices, it’s a watered down version of the Ubisoft action adventure game or even a card game. Well, this time we’re getting ready to receive  a proper stealth and assassination title, as shown below.

The name is Assassin’s Creed Identity and the game has already been launched (soft launched) in New Zealand on iOS. You get to play in Italy again, during the Renaissance and the graphics are actually pretty nice. There’s pickpocketing, sneaking into the hay ballot and obviously murders. You can sneak around, rotate the perspective and there are a lot of NPCs around walking and talking, so I supposed you have to own a pretty high end device to play this.

There’s open world exploration and assassination scenarios, with some variety included. Graphics aren’t bad at all and this game looks like straight out of 2006 or even 2008, which is a compliment for such titles. I see the Borgias are in the mix and seeing how Ubisoft have released only hits lately (Valiant Hearts, Child of Light), they may just go for a trifecta.
