  • Bruce Lee Enter the game is one of the very few martial arts titles out there and one based on Bruce Lee no less. It’s available for free, but it’s a freemium game, with hearts that run out every once in a while and other such mechanics.

We played the game on the Nexus 6 handset and had a blast, apart from the times it got frustrating. You will be swiping to attack enemies and sometimes you have to swipe and hold to break a barrier, which is a command not always registered by the device. There are 40 levels to play, quite a few costumes and weapons to unlock, including nunchucks and gloves. Story mode missions bring you cash, that you will spend on upgrades, clothes and weapons.

There’s Fury mode triggered by filling a circular meter at the top of the screen and filling it is done by making combos. Enemies come in waves, dressed like typical 70s villains and the music and grainy filter of the graphics fit the same vibe. There are powerups to apply before starting levels and various purposes to pass the missions, like triggering fury 3 times or saving your zen master.

Graphics are cartoonish, combat is fast paced, but sometimes the control is glitchy. We give this game an 8 out of 10 and you can download it here.
