Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick’n Run Review (Huawei P9 Plus): Cashing in On the EURO Frenzy, Not Much More (Video)

There have been many soccer games appearing this summer, on account of the EURO 2016 competition and some of them had stars like Cristiano Ronaldo in the spotlight. CR7 has been the subject of endless runners before, but this time he’s running in Paris and there’s no Hugo troll to accompany him. The game is available here for free.
We played it on the Huawei P9 Plus and obviously it worked without a hitch. The classic Subway Surfers clone, the game is quite easy to play and has swift animations and decently rendered parts of Paris. Aside from running and gathering coin, you also have kick footballs to hit targets for extra points and avoid the tackles from rival players.
You are allowed to make a false more, getting a yellow card, but the next wrong move is game over, unless you spend a special currency. The coins gathered unlock original equipment for the Real Madrid star, like boots, outfits and more. Powerups are available, propelling us with more meters, a coin magnet and invincibility, all of them with a greater duration if you spend the coins.
Controls are based on swiping, up to jump and to the side to change lane. You can also swipe down to slip below traps. These aren’t very complex and you’ll find yourselves bored by the low level of difficulty of the game, to be frank. In the end only hardcore Cristiano fans will play the game and that’s the only niche that will be happy.
We give this game an 8 out of 10 and we recommend you get back to Subway Surfers.
