  • The folks of Digg finally brought some ease after the pain of losing Google Reader and they launched a pretty decent Android app, that already got an average of 4 stars out of 5 after 200 reviews. The software includes up to date stories from the Digg homepage and the Digg Reader, optimized for Android devices.

The features of the app include the option to quickly swipe back and forth through Digg Top Stories and through feeds and folders in the Digg Reader. You can Digg or save stories, send them to Instapaper, Pocket or Readability. Of course, sharing to other social networking services is available, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, WordPress and even Dropbox.

You’ll be able to sort your Digg reader items by popularity, search Digg Top Stories and log into the Digg Reader with your Facebook, Twitter or Google account. RSS feeds can be organized and other sources can be divided into folders, so that’s a plus. You can download the app from here.
