  • Square Enix just did a soft launch of a new Tomb Raider game, that’s available on devices in Netherlands. The title is called Lara Croft: Relic Run and as the screenshots below reveal, it’s an endless runner.

It reminds us a lot of Temple Run, because the action takes place inside a temple and jungle, but this time there are shooting portions, vehicle riding and even a T Rex chase. Visuals are quite good looking and there’s a lot of collectible stuff to get here, starting with coins. Crystal Dynamics and Simutronics have been working together on this title, that will offer boss fights too.

The launch in Netherlands took place on iOS and Android and there will also be a version for Windows Phone. Relic run is free to play and the global release was promised for the coming months. You can spend relics to revive Lara once she’s done and aside from running, you’ll be jumping on vines and bridges, plus dodging traps in temples.
