  • Evernote 7 was launched about a month ago for Android smartphones, with Material Design cues in tow. It also had new collaborative features and user-requested enhancements. However, today this release gets even better, by getting optimized for Android tablet use.

The flatter look and bolder colors, as well as the new fonts are all available on the Evernote app installed on the tablets. The developers wanted to achieve an unified experience, so it wouldn’t matter if you were using a smartphone, smartwatch, tablet or desktop, but also optimized the app for whatever device the user was relying on.

The tablet version involves a split toolbar, that allows one to manage content, as well as perform certain actions. The main navigation panel can be expanded and collapsed so it makes it easier to access notes, to do lists, links and more. Alignment is also better, for a cleaner interface. You can download the app right here.
