  • One thing that most Android users know about is that the official Facebook app is one of the most controversial on the Store. Fortunately like with most official apps there are plenty of alternatives to choose from. And even if the original would be considered worth installing – most alternatives provide more features and in general seem more attractive. Now here’s a Facebook alternative that comes in a not so common form.

One aspect Android users are really proud of is their ability to use widgets. That is because they’re the fastest way to keep informed or/and interact with an app. Well how about one for Facebook that not only looks good but is also highly useful. Think of it this way. Developer Widapps wanted to give users a chance to interact with the social network at all levels while benefiting from the advantages of a widget.

What can Likeview Widget do? Well just about anything you would normally use the official app or an alternative for. I mean you can stay informed about all notifications, messages, events and so on. Also you can post statuses, pictures, videos or links just as you would normally do. And when it comes to your friends posts you can comment and/or post your like with the greatest ease. The settings menu allows you to set your font size or refresh interval and mode.

Likeview Widget comes in both a free form and a Plus version made so as to motivate the developers to keep improving this great social Facebook alternative. Be sure to give it a try.
