  • Since I got to play around with the Samsung Galaxy A5 for a while, I also had fun with some games on this device. Those included the title Fail Hard, that’s demoed below in a video review.

This is a free title available in the Google Play Store and it’s quite fun to play. It’s all about stunts and it has good physics. There are smart obstacles to pass, in a variety of ways, many of which involve broken bones. You can upgrade your equipment, as you pull stunts and usually all you have to do is accelerate and then jump at the proper time.

You have to earn 3 stars per level, but usually one will do to proceed. Graphics look quite nice here and the number of levels is quite big. You will be riding a motorbike and you have to press the button on the sides to learn forward or back in order to land properly… or improperly for a crazier stunt. Double jump is also a concept here, but not in the way you think.

The second jump involves catapulting the poor driver from the bike. At some point you can upgrade your fellow with a jetpack and some wings just for kicks. Replayability is great here, because there’s a ton of stuff to do. I also liked the background rock music, based on bass loops. You can enhance your acceleration, speed and spin as you progress and the physics were quite good in Fail Hard.

To top it all, there’s also humor here, so this game gets a 9 out of 10 from us. You can download it here.
