  • Flickr debuted over the past hours a brand new app for Android and iOS, reaching version 3.0. Flickr 3.0 for Android brings a totally new UI and a bunch of new editing tools that you’ll surely love.

The app also offers a camera with nifty options for picture taking and also sharing options. Live filters are available and in the editing department you get filters, vignettes, auto enhance and other professional tools (color balance, levels and exposure). The Flickr app also lets you record up to 30 seconds of what they call “stunning HD video” using the same filters mentioned above.

Flickr also gives you 1000 GB for storage for free, enough space to hold 500k pics, which is more than enough. Sharing is also made easier with the aid of batch organization for example, plus you can now share any pic from Flickr directly to Tumblr, Twitter or Facebook. You can also browse top trending photos within the Explore feature and discover new professional photographers.

An enhanced information screen is also available. Download here.
