  • There’s no shortage of kart games recently, so if you feel that Angry Birds Go just doesn’t cut it for you, there’s always Garfield Kart to have fun with. The game was tested on the LG G2 and it’s priced at a mere dollar.

It feels a bit like Mario Kart and it features the famous characters from the Garfield cartoons, including Odie, Garfield, Jon and Nermal. We’ve got grand prix races, with collections of a few tracks with points offered to the characters. There’s also a multiplayer, both local and online, but usually there aren’t many races taking place, sadly.

From what I’ve heard this game also offers cross platform multiplayer, which is insanely cool, if real. There are 16 tracks included here, 8 characters, 8 bonuses and 3 difficulty levels split by cubic centimeters. You can customize your character’s clothes, you ride and also benefit from powerups and upgrades.

The levels are colourful and pretty well designed, by the gameplay is the main problem here. Pickups and powerups are simply too powerful for a player and the UFOs for example may totally ruin a race once they’re used. The AI gets crazy over the last lap of the race and will probably take you down from the first spot fast.

That’s frustrating so the game gets a 7 out of 10. The download link is here.
