  • Gmail has been updated with a few useful features, albeit not major ones. For example, we get an unified inbox and browse conversations in non Gmail accounts just like in the native ones.

The supported accounts include Yahoo, Outlook.com and other IMAP/POP accounts. The new “all inboxes” option will include all the messages into a single window, even if they’re from non Gmail accounts. The conversation view is able to group messages on the same email chain in a single thread now. Google has also made the search smarter and results are now more accurate. Once you start typing a word, improved auto complete options should appear.

This release also increases the size of attachment previews and there’s now the ability to save to Google Drive with a single tap. You can get the APK right here and in case you want a more official source, the update is rolling out right now. In the meantime, if you do want the APK, it has a crytopgraphic signature that guarantees the file is safe to install.
