Five Nights at Freddy’s Review (Samsung Galaxy Note 4): Overhyped Scare Jump Title With a Few Good Concepts (Video)

  • Since we played with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, we also had a bit of fun with the famous title Five Nights At Freddy’s, priced at $3. This game is a bit overhyped to be honest, since everyone is talking about it. I mean, the concept is relatively new and it’s fun and all, but it’s not a total hit and a blockbuster, as people make it sound.

The idea is simple: you play as a night guard at some sort of children’s pizza place and you have to keep away from animatronic monsters, that will haunt the hallways of the building. You have to survive for 5 nights from 00.00 AM to 06.00 AM and you’ll control the security cameras that show the incoming monsters. Some of the cameras become fuzzy, so sometimes it’s a good idea to turn on the lights to see what’s coming.

You have 4 switches available: two on the right and two on the left, controlling the light and doors that block access of the evil monsters to your room. Electric energy is limited, so you have to be careful with the doors and lights, since they use up a ton of power. The game needs 512 MB of RAM minimum to play and it’s developed by Scott Cawthon.

The action of a level takes place in about 4 or 5 minutes and this game is actually a port of a PC hit game. The atmosphere is quite scary and the only way to get really frightened here are the jump scares, that aren’t as impressive, since the critters become predictable after a while of playing. We give this game an 8 out of 10 and I won’t deny it’s fun to play. You can download it here.
