Formula Cartoon All Stars Review (Wiko Rainbow): Kart Racing With Cartoon Network Characters, Not so Good Controls (Video)

It was always a dream of mine to race around a karting track using characters from the best Cartoon Network shows. And alas, such a game exists and it’s called Formula Cartoon All Stars. The game is available for free and you can download it here.
We played it on the Wiko Rainbow handset and it’s a racing kart title, with currencies like coins and gems included. There are tournaments included and a special Adventure mode. You can tweak the look of your ride in a variety of ways, including modifications of the body, exhaust, wheels and more. Users will also be able to upgrade the acceleration, speed and turbo and choose a driver, including the likes of Dexter, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls and the little guys from Adventure Time.
The game’s graphics are quite nice and characters are cute and well rendered. The type of game reminds me of Reckless Racing 3, but it’s not exactly a clone. The controls are a bit tough and they’re based on a steering wheel shown on the screen. You can pick up weapons from the track, a shield and set traps for the other racers. You will compete versus 5 characters, all of them driving colorful karts.
You can tap to accelerate and I have to say that I find the camera view a bit bothersome in this title. Graphics are 3D and cartoonish and the background music is honestly annoying. There are 75 tracks included, a ton of characters and fun traps to play with. You can also customize a kart with 100 parts or so. We give this game an 8 out of 10 and it’s quite fun, but control is a downer.
