  • Google Now has been updated with support for a series of apps, that get their own cards in Now. Thanks to the Google app you will now get info about the music you like, reminders for the daily French lesson on Duolingo and more.

Up until now, Google Now reminded you about a flight, the score of your favourite team’s match, or showed a news story you’ve been following. Now it will also show hotel deals and home buying tips, plus much more. 40 different apps will get their own cards and the list includes Shazam, Pandora, Lyft, eBay, Tripadvisor, The Economist, The Guardian or Runtastic.

Pandora’s card can show recommendations for music to play, based on what you like. If you’re planning to take a trip, the Airbnb app will show you places to stay at. Also, once you’re landed at an airport, Lyft’s card pops up, ready to order a car. 30+ developers have contributed new cards, rolling out over the next few weeks. You can get the Google app from here.
