Google Now Launcher Gets Updated With Material Design, Brings Lollipop Look (Video)

Google’s Now Launcher has been updated in the Android and iOS app versions, bringing Material Design into the mix. You can find the new version in the Play Store here, if you’re curious and more details are available below.
The Google Now launcher and the Search app that’s at its core adopt the Lollipop Material Design language, no matter what Android version your device runs. Up until now, the Google Now launcher used to adopt the graphical cues from each particular Android version. The Search field has become white and there are new animations included here, plus a more fluid UI.
The Google Now section has received a panel, that can be swiped in from the left, allowing one to change the launcher’s settings and move between accounts, plus set reminders. So, if you’re looking for more vivid animations, feel free to update the experience. Also, the search speed is a bit improved.
