  • It’s a good idea to check out the Android Calendar app these days, since there are a lot of interesting MWC 2015 events to schedule. Well, Google takes advantage of the intensive usage and rolls out changes to the Calendar app for Android, while listening to the user’s feedback.

After the last app redesign, users complained about the UI not showing enough info and lacking some options. There were still people who praised the 5 day view that came months ago, but now we get a 7 day week view instead of 5, with pinch to zoom support. You can also add Google Drive files to relevant events and toggle birthdays imported from Google+.

Finally, the new Calendar app includes a settings option that shows week numbers and comes with support for importing .ics files from other apps. You can download the app here, with the promise that Google is also retooling on a new Calendar app for iPhone.
