Grand Theft Auto Vice City Plagued by Delays, Coming Next Week at Best

  • Rockstar Games has updated officially the status of the Vice City release, saying that the game will be late and it may arrive next week. GTA Vice City arrived yesterday, but it was quickly withdrawn from the Play Store after a bunch of validation errors were found and users rained one out of 5 star reviews onto the Store.

The validation problems seem to be linked with the game’s servers somehow. Rockstar may have pulled the game for now, but they’re also actively working on fixing it. They promised that by the end of next week everything will be OK and we can only keep our fingers crossed for that. I guess it pays to own an iOS device in moments like these… At least you can play GTA III and Max Payne Mobile in the meantime and console yourselves with a Gangstar title from Gameloft.

As games get more complex, their problems do as well, so you should expect similar setbacks to appear in the future. Are you one of the hundreds who tried to play the game and failed?
