  • Many of our school nights were spent playing Heroes instead of learning and I’m sure that applies to many of you. Now you can take that fun with you, since Heroes of Might and Magic III has come to Android. It’s up for download here, priced at $10.

This is a 1999 turn based strategy game, revamped in a HD version, featuring big maps to explore and limited turns to spend. There’s also hot seat multiplayer included and as usual for a Heroes title, you should be prepared for a long gameplay session. This is a port of the original title, allowing you to play as Queen Catherine Ironfist, as she tries to reconquer the kingdom of Erathia.

The game has HD graphics, with the looks of the OG title being remastered. Control is now touch based and very intuitive and there’s widescreen compatibility in the mix. 7 campaign scenarios are included, 8 iconic factions as well, plus 50 skirmish maps and a local multiplayer mode. Keep in mind the game requires 1.1 GB of storage on your device.

Well, at least there aren’t any in app purchases.
