  • How does the idea of a murderous blob sound? How about him getting snatched by hairy red creatures in the dark? Well said blob lays alone in the dark and awaits in the game Hopeless The Dark Cave, that we played on the Sony Xperia E4.

This is a pretty much casual game, that simply involves tapping on those red furry beasts to shoot them. The blob will be joined by even more yellow blobs and if you’re too trigger happy you may end up murdering the blobs that join you or committing suicide. The game is available for free in the Play Store and lets you buy shotguns, SMGs and other weapons, as well as outfits and powerups for the blobs.

As time passes the waves of enemies will intensify and they’ll arrive in greater numbers and with armor even. The atmosphere manages to be creepy, since behind every corner there can be a furry beast. You can also use a light source to expand the bright area around you and see them coming, but that costs coins. You can level up, use an armor and call more blobs for help, when the going gets tough.

This is a very simple and repetitive game, but also fun and creepy. We give it an 8.3 out of 10 and you can download it here.
