HTC Uploads Dot View Application to the Play Store
HTC also launched a bunch of cool accessories for the HTC One M8, including the Dot View case shown below. This case model has an interesting perforation pattern that lets the screen light through and shows you screen details, like the time and some other info. Now there’s a special app for it!
The Dot View case shows every image or text in dotted patterns, sort of like pixel art. This is a flip cover device, where the holes poked in it do all the tricks. Since there’s now an app associated to it in the Play Store, it’s easy to tweak the experience some more and display a variety of patterns.
The app can be updated on the Store and downloaded right here. If you’re already an owner of the HTC One M8, you probably already have the app installed. However, if you need an update, you’ll need to check out the Play Store. Sadly, this is only compatible with the HTC One M8, although I’m sure hackers will work something out.
