  • The manufacturer struggle in order to achieve perfection in terms of Android customisation of the UI has come a long way and all sorts of options have been brought to life with the different handsets available. Huawei is promoting its latest Emotion UI, now ported for other handsets from different manufacturers.

Chinese manufacturers seem to have an act for developing some of the best interfaces for the Android OS. After Xiaomi’s Miui interface has reached heights in terms of popularity, Huawei is ready and willing to take on the same path. The Emotion UI Launcher that the manufacturer has developed for its handsets has now been ported, along with some other great apps, to be installed on other handsets.

The Emotion UI offers a very fast and smooth experience. It comes with some customization options, though not as many as some of the other alternatives on the Store. You can choose custom transition effects out of the many available, and have up to 9 homescreens. There are also notification counters on icons, folders, and HTC like widget selection interface. It is available in the form of the .apk file that can be downloaded from here.
