  • It so seems that more and more manufacturers are starting to realise the potential of Android as a pure gaming oriented OS among many others. Thus entertainment oriented devices based on the Google OS are no longer something unheard of and Huawei is now prepared to also take a step in this direction.

As one of (if not the) largest communications devices manufacturers, Huawei comes as a surprise with a pure gaming oriented device running Android OS. Powered by the NVidia Tegra 4 SoC, also available in other such portable gaming devices, the new Huawei gadget will apparently also offer the advantage of a very attractive price.

We know that, according to the benchmarks, the Tegra 4 SoC is ot to be taken lightly. Such should be the case with the Huawei Tron Console that offers features such as 1080P output via HDMI port and a dedicated controller. Besides – hardware wise there are 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wireless ac. The rumors state that the console will start selling in China for $120.
