  • The game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes may not have been the best entry in the Star Wars universe, but it’s still receiving a ton of downloads and some love from fans. It’s no wonder that even big franchises like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took a page from its book and cloned it. Thus we have the Ninja Turtles Legends game, shown below.

We reviewed it on the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 and had a bit of fun with turn based battles. Each character has a set of abilities, including some boosts of stats and status ailments. When you use special moves, there’s a cool animation, as shown in the video review. Interestingly, not all turtles are unlocked from the get go, so there’s quite a bit of work to do.

You have to spend thunders to battle, so there’s a freemium mechanic here. We also have a card shop and collectible cards are required in order to unlock critters. Kraang is the enemy and he’ll pit against you a series of creatures also organized in a party. Abilities can be leveled up and card packs can be purchased with real money.

There are daily missions to perform and if you’re lazy you can even set the missions to Auto and do some grinding when you’re not in the room. Just like Galaxy of Heroes, the main problem here is repetition and boredom. Hardcore TNMT fans will be content though. We give this game an 8 and you can get it here.
