  • The ISIS Mobile Wallet app for T-Mobile customers has just been made available in the Google Play Store. This is an app used to access a payment service, one that’s backed by big players such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Originally this product was supposed to debut in September, but it was delayed till this month.

The app only works on devices with NFC on board and ones that are on T-Mobile’s network. ISIS has a bunch of participating retail locations in the trial markets of Salt Lake City, Utah and Austin, in Teas. There should be an specific ISIS SIM on certain devices for services to work. Here are examples of models that support ISIS: Samsung Galaxy S III or Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G. In order to use ISI you also need a non rooted phone, aside from that special ISIS card and special location on the map, in the towns mentioned above.

There’s also a nifty feature included here, that offers discounts, loyalty rewards and payment info at the same time, just by touching the phone to a register with compatible setup. You can download the app from the Play Store here, provided you meet all requirements above.
