  • The XDA Developers community is offering for download the full package of Lenovo launcher and apps, as shown by the screenshots below. Lenovo tends to customize the Android experience on its devices quite a bit, so you can really have fun with those.

There’s also a special Lenovo Music app, that looks minimalistic and is said to work great. For now, the package was tested on the Nexus 4 and the HTC One and worked like a charm on both devices. There’s an aspect here that I remember from 2011 Lenovo tablets: a square of options, basically a widget with shortcuts for important features, with the settings in the middle.

What Lenovo succeeded when implementing customizations is staying away from the playful tone of LG’s Optimus UI or the colourful and vivid approach of Samsung’s TouchWiz. They’re serious and at the same time high tech in their approach. The music player looks as if it was taken straight out of iOS 7, which some of you may like.

You can get your download on from here.
