  • MoDaCo Switch appeared a few months ago as a way to run both HTC Sense 5.0 and the Google Edition stock Android experience on the HTC One. Now the same project has been developed for the Galaxy S4, courtesy of an Indiegogo campaign.

The MoDaCo Switch ROM has hit the rotted HTC on and it’s now landing on the Galaxy S4 in beta phase for now. For those of you who don’t know, Indiegogo is sort of like Kickstarter, with people paying contributions to get a project started. Lately we’ve seen movie directors turning to such methods for financing.

Anyway, using the MoDaCo Switch you’ll be able to play with TouchWiz on the S4 and then switch to the stock Android 4.2.2 (or even 4.3) with the push of a virtual button. This would basically kill the craving for a Google Edition Galaxy S4 if you already own the regular S4. Keep in mind that this only applies to GSM versions of the phone.
