New Game: Frontline Commando D-Day Takes You to WW II in Glu Mobile Style (Video)

The first Frontline Commando from Glu Mobile took the players to Middle East, where they fought terrorists using rocket launchers, machine guns and such, while staying behind cover. You could also move from cover to cover and face waves of enemies. Now, there’s a new Frontline Commando title, called D-Day.
The game is still free and it’s a bit more dynamic, as the character you control runs through the trenches. The game is still free and it’s still a static shooter from behind cover, but at least we’ve got the running parts. The title takes up 289 MB of storage and has you shooting WW II guns at Nazis, straight after descending from the boats on the Normandy beach.
You can also fire turrets at enemy plans, use rocket launchers to destroy gun towers, you get to play with grenades and the whole idea here is to duck, fire, reload and fire again. The game offers 5 separate campaigns with 145 missions to experience, based on the actual landings. Those include Juno, Sword, Utah, Gold and Omaha. You will even battle tanks and cannons and run through the warzone. The game has evolved a lot from the first iteration and you can download it from here.
