  • Moon+ Reader is one of the best eBook redrs available on the Android platform and with a bunch of features not found with other alternatives of its kind. As so, the developers have been pushing a lot of updates for it, making it one of the best offers available.

As most of you may or may not know, Moon+ Reader Pro was banned from the Play Store. That is because LitRes.ru filed a complain to Google that the reader supports OPDS format of online libraries that some pirate libraries use. CoolReader author was threatened with the same sanctions unless they disable this feature. Google quickly responded to the complain and removed Moon+ from the Play Store, leaving a lot of users that had payed for the Pro version in the dark.

As the community found the motive for Moon+ being banned from the Store, they formed complains of their own to Google that were apparently into account.  This made the owner of the Play Store respond and give Moon+ Reader permission  to again be available on the Play Store. To thank its supporters and mark the coming back to the Store, the developer has lowered the price of the Pro version to over 50% off. Thus a fortunate end to an unfortunate mishap.

Moon+ Reader Pro is now available for $2.49 from $4.99, on the Play Store.
