  • My, how Pac-Man has evolved… From the classic labyrinth running critter, the smiling yellow guy has now been turned into the protagonist of a running game. The game is called Pac-Man Dash, it’s available for free on the Play Store and we reviewed it in the video below.

The game was tested on the ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 tablet and Pac-Man Dash feels a lot like Sonic if you ask me. The game is offered by Namco Bandai and there’s also a card collecting aspect of the title. You have to buy cards with various sidekick characters, that will accompany you in the dozens of levels included here. You will jump, dash, collect cookies and hit ghosts.

Every level has a time limit, that you can extend by collecting ghosts and you can also collect fruit for extra points. There are over 70 missions here and you can perform cool moves like a double jump or a triple jump, plus freeze ghosts if you have a special sidekick. You can save 4 separate game files and exchange goodies between profiles, which is cool for members of a family.

There’s also the option of scanning barcodes from Pac-Man toys and getting the characters in the game. The game is very fun to play, fast paced and has a humoristic vibe to it. We give it a 9.5 out of 10 and you can download it from here.
