  • We’ve heard of MMORPGs on Android, but a side scrolling game of this kind sure sounds like novelty. This one is coming from R2Games, which is a company known for its browser-based MMO games. The title bears the name Excalibur and it’s shown in the trailer below.

Excalibur offers the players 4 classes to choose between: Knight, Wizard, Assassin and Archer. The title will debut with only 3 classes at first, but it will receive the fourth soon after its release. R2Games’ product will feature guilds, a gem system for improving weapons and armor and a Zodiac system for character enhancements.

You will also alter your character’s stats with an Angel Blessing system and a Rune system. A good piece of news is that the game will be multi platform, so you’ll play against people on iOS and Android without problems. There’s no release date, but at least the game is 99% supposed to be free to play, with in app purchases.
