Mountain Goat Mountain Review (Xiaomi Mi 4i): Yet Another Goat-Based Title, Very Funky and Fun Through Variety of Goats (Video)
We got the chance to play with a Xiaomi phone lately and took advantage of that to also have fun with the latest goat-based game. It’s called Mountain Goat Mountain, comes from the giant Zynga and it’s very fun… also free in the Play Store.
Launched in mid July, the game is a casual one and involves hopping on squares to get to higher ground. You can hop in 4 directions and have to avoid falling logs and boulders, plus the squares of rock crashing under you. The appeal here is the variety of unlockable goats, including a dubstep goat and VR goat, plus a winter and autumn goat.
Each of them also changes the background, that by the way looks fantastic. You can even set up 60 FPS graphics here, with 3D leaves flying all over the screen or a VR goat prancing in an environment that feels like one of the Metal Gear Solid VR missions. Trampolines are here too, as well as 20 goats to unlock. IAPs aren’t exactly necessary, since the game gives you coins every once in a while, used to unlock new goats.
This endless climber is more fun than expected and we give it an 8.7 out of 10.
