  • There’s a big Shazam update coming Android’s way, but as usual iOS was the first to get it. This fresh update that arrived hours ago focuses on social networking and sharing the songs you find.

There’s also an improved lyrics experience and a revamped user interface. Users will be shown detailed artist bios, redesigned album and song pages and videos will be included for tunes. Shazam mentions that the app has been modified to enhance audio recognition and use up less power from your device’s battery.

The update is only available on iOS right now, but Android users can expect it to drop in a couple of weeks, just in time to start catching those annoying summer-ish tunes. As far as sharing goes, I can see that we can see stuff via email, messages, Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Google+ and Pinterest.
