  • Not minutes, not hours but for days I’ve been looking for a simple way to change the volume without touching the dedicated keys. It is very true that there are plenty of apps in this regard but all seemed too complex for my needs. And in general finding a simple app on the Store has become a real challenge.

Developer Darmae offers his app with the same naming for free on the Store. Once installed don’t bother looking for it in the app drawer. Instead keep in mind that you’re dealing with a widget and access the appropriate menu to use it. In fact that is one of the aspects that makes it different. It is both simple and attractive.

The 4 x 1 widget comes with plenty of customisation options for it’s look and feel. It offers an option to change the volume for any of the smartphone’s features. From media to notifications all you have to do is press the dedicated button and adjust the knob as you feel like. You can even set the sensibility of it. And on the left side of every pop-up menu there is a button to change the profile to silent or vibration without further headaches. It is surely one of the options worth having placed on tthe homescreen and you can download it from the Store with minimum resource and storage space cost.
