  • The Star Wars frenzy currently taking place all over the world couldn’t come without a brand new Star Wars game on mobile. Said game is called Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and we played it on the Elephone Trunk, as shown below.

The game features turn based battles, the famous characters from the Star Wars franchise, both from the Light side and the Dark side. Galaxy of Heroes is free in the Play Store, it comes from Electronic Arts and has beautifully rendered character models. Each character can be upgraded, thanks to some special droids and points.

They can also have items equipped, increasing their stats. In their most basic forms, the characters have two main attacks, with a third one unlockable later on. Chewbacca for example can draw enemy fire on him, while another character can heal the party. Stormtroopers, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker are all here and playable, as well as Darth Vader, but it takes quite a bit of playing to unlock dark side guys.

The bad part of the game is that it has many menus and confusing menus, making you lose quite a bit of time. We’ve also got an arena, where the PvP action is going on. There’s a lot of loot obtained after the fights and if you select a certain level of difficulty, you’ll get extra loot or rarer items. Crafting items is also possible, but the core of the game is collecting characters using shards or simply getting them as you progress.

Animations are fine and battles fun and we give this game an 8.5 out of 10. You can download it here.
