  • SwiftKey has announced a change of its business model, that involves making its famous keyboard available for free and offering a theme store to the customers, with both paid and free themes. Previously, SwiftKey was available for $3.99 a pop, but that’s changed now.

Consumers are surely very happy about this and now, instead of selling the app, the company will sell themes for it. Customers have long time requested a store like this to be opened and now they have a wide selection available, like the themes shown below. The update also adds an optional number row above the keyboard, over 800 emojis integrated, more languages and improved predictions.

This is a major update and a change that has been expected for a while now. For the users who already purchased SwiftKey, there will be a special offer. They will be rewarded with a free Premier Pack of 10 themes, that usually goes for $4.99. You can download the keyboard with all its cool features from here.
