  • Cyanogen reached a new step in its evolution by launching a brand new themes app and a store for such themes. The app serves as your one stop for CyanogenMod customization, with fonts, animations, wallpapers and more.

The company also debuted the beta version of Themes Studio, tailored for designers and used to publish and distribute themes. In order to celebrate the release of Themes Studio, Cyanogen has debuted a Themes Design Challenge, that offers designers prizes if they submit their themes to the store till December 14th. They can win a smartphone and a Cyanogen swag pack if their creations are picked.

The first ten designers who submit a theme will also get a free Cyanogen T-shirt. The Themes app will be preloaded on a few handsets, such as the OnePlus One model, the Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Edition or the future Micromax-created phones from the Yu series. Only free themes will be available initially, followed by paid ones at some point. You can enter the Themes Design contest here.
