  • Textalyzer is a new an interesting app that will let you know what your texting patterns are and who are the people you chat most with. It may show that you text your girlfriend often, but she takes around 5 minutes to text you back for example.

It may also show that on average that highschool friend of yours spams you with 5 texts a day. There are also general stats, like total incoming texts and outgoing ones, most likely people to start conversations, or least likely to start conversations. Frequency of texts by hour is also mentioned and you have a special section for those special contacts who you text a lot.

There are average delays listed, as well as the most common word used, which is kind of cool. Emoticons are centralized as well and while this may help you figure out what your SMS habits are, imagine if some big companies got their hands on hundreds of thousands of such stats… In the meantime you can download the app here.
