  • Trying to avoid the stigma of the “endless runner”, the latest game-movie tie-in, Transformers Age of Extinction is dubbed as a combat runner. DeNA has released the game for free and you’ve got a trailer for it below.

In this game you can play as the Autobots, that will smash and dash their way through a series of levels. You can also transform into a vehicle or robot, as you make a run for it throughout the levels. The Bumblebee sports car version is present here and the Grimlock dinosaur too. You must also fight incoming Decepticons, coming in waves and you’ll need to customize your Autobots with weapons and tech upgrades.

The graphics are 3D here and the Grimlock experience is probably the best one in this title. Meanwhile, in a few days we’ll also get the movie in cinema, the latest Michael Bay Transformers title, this time featuring Mark Wahlberg. Since Godzilla got two games, I wouldn’t be surprised to see one more for this title. In case you’re wondering where the download link is, well, the game hasn’t rolled out in all countries, so must wait a bit more.
