  • One of the best Android antivirus you can find for free, TrustGo Antivirus has not only the appeal of being available for no money at all, but also an intuitive UI and straightforward options and settings. Created by TrustGo Mobile Inc. this application was updated on August 3rd and requires Android 2.2 and up. It takes up just 4 MB of storage and it gets full support for the Dolphin Browser and many other features.

It has a special security scanner, that managed to go through my dozens of files quite fast and you can even schedule scans whenever you like it. There’s also the ability to scan the SD card for viruses, malware and other problems. And then there’s the Secure App Search, that allows you to search and download applications that are 100% safe. TrustGo will let you know that you’re installing a risky app. Next, we’ve got a Secure Web Browsing feature, ready to notify you when you’re visiting a potentially dangerous page.

We also have Privacy Guard, showing us what the apps are collecting from us, as far as information goes and also giving you a full dashboard of their permissions. Through the TrustGo Antivirus app you can store, backup and restore your phone’s data safely, using the TrustGo cloud solution. And finally, we’ve got anti theft protection, that remotely locates your handset, locks it, starts an alarm or wipes the device remotely. You can download the antivirus from here and check out the video review below. We give a 9 out of 10.
