Waze Gets updated With New Popup Bar, That Shows How Long You’ll be Stuck in Traffic
Waze is considered to be less popular now that it’s owned by Google, or so the word goes. Well, recently it got a hugely useful feature, that makes waiting in traffic easier for you.
The app was recently updated for iOS as well, reaching version 3.9.4. For Android it got the update a bit earlier, implementing a Traffic Bar, that shows your progress along a road with heavy traffic. There’s also an estimation regarding the time you’ll spend in traffic. The new Waze update also makes the retrieval of an old account on a new phone easier.
You can find an extra voice prompt, saying “Let’s go via… road” to recommend a route. Version 3.9.4 is said to be 85% faster and it comes with UI enhancements, bug fixes and improved support for U-turns. You can get the app here.
