  • There’s no shortage of endless runners these days, but those that are horror theme don’t occur that often. One of them is the Zombie Escape title, that sounds perfect for a Halloween release. We tested this game on the LDK 785 3G tablet, a slate from Eastern Europe.

The game is a horror endless runner, that lets you run in a jungle, at night in a forest or in a hellish location, chased by a zombie. Aside from swiping up to jump over obstacles, swiping down to slip under them or tilting the device to change lane, you’ll also be swiping diagonally to hit the zombies in front of you.

This is a very easy game to play, much easier than the games it resembles: Despicable Me Minion Rush and Subway Surfers. You’ve got 4 different characters to play with, 3D graphics available here and zombies and monsters peppered all over the title. I enjoyed playing the game, its powerups and such, but it gets boring fast.

Zombie Escape gets a 7 out of 10 from us and you can get it from here.
